Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher

In this chilling adaptation of Henry James' spellbinding Victorian ghost story, the horror comes both from things that go bump in the night to make their presence known and from things kept quiet so that secrets stay buried. Exclusive South Bay Engagement
Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award Winner
I AM MY OWN WIFE
by Doug Wright
February 11 - March 8, 2009

I Am My Own Wife is the miraculous and fascinating true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, who survived the Nazis and then Communism behind the Berlin Wall. When the wall came down and the West walked in, amidst the repressive rubble, they were stunned to find Charlotte, who had faced the regimes quite openly as a gay transvestite. Her incredible life story, told in her own words, is also about what dark secrets she chooses not to tell. One actor portrays more than 30 characters during the dazzling course of the play and the end result, says The New York Times, is "a story that is both moving and intellectually absorbing [and] quite powerfully makes the case for storytelling in our lives."

Revival of the Critically-Acclaimed Musical
ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE
by Ted Swindley
April 1 - 26, 2009

This delightful musical is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer. The show is based on a true story about Patsy's friendship with Louise Seger, an avid fan from Houston, who befriended the star and continued a correspondence with Ms. Cline until the Patsy's untimely death. The musical includes many of Patsy's unforgettable hits, including Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walkin' After Midnight. The show's title was inspired by Patsy's letters to Louise, which were signed "Love Always...Patsy Cline." This is a tribute that centers not so much on Patsy's biography, but on how her music affected the lives of simple people, who still find Ms. Cline's classics as fresh and heartfelt today.

There's a new tenant at Armadillo Acres, and she wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil-loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband, the storms begin to brew. The Village Voice calls it "a show that actually lives up to the hype of its title." and, according to Broadway.com, "a sparkling, sharp irreverence lights up this musical and makes it one of the most laugh-out-loud shows in town."
